Just saw this quote on a friend's site and thought it sums up everything very well.

Right On! Even as a scientist I value my intuitive mind the most. However I find that this is often frowned upon. You certainly can't be any kind of artist without valuing the intuitive. Perhaps that explains why my closest friends now are in the arts and humanities, and not sciences!
