He would be driving it himself in this scenario and not just riding in the back. And now that I think about it the back seats would be too cramped for a comfortable riding situation.
Your thoughts?
Me? No dog in the hunt. Just came to mind as I was stuffing errata into my pockets in prep for a walk...

Personally, I think he should use public transport wherever possible. (There is actually a Royal Train in the UK by the way.) If he were to have a car, it should be an electric one, definitely not large!
I think King Chuckie would drive an EV Fiat 500. He and the Pope could have "drag" races.

Hi Kirk,
The royal family have hereditary links to Germany so perhaps a BMW or Mercedes. As BMW now own and manufacture the Mini brand perhaps he could drive one of those. Can’t really see him in an American car, unless it came with right hand drive.
All the best and don’t let the trolls get you down!
BMW since they own Rolls Royce these days, but then I cannot see the crown owning a German car given the history there. Perhaps a Tesla if the royals would like to join the 21st century. Perhaps they should make a stop in the 20th to decompress.
On a more serious note, I could see the King in the new electric Hummer - properly armored of course
My guess would be one of the armored Suburbans like the Secret Service use but in white, macho/regal.
Haven't you heard Mr.T ... they drive Land Rovers. The 2022 consumers car survey report voted LR the most unreliable vehicle in America. My guess is he'd go for a top end loaded Jeep or Escalade. There are "standards" to maintain you know.🤣😎
JohW, Ah, the Land Rovers. The least reliable car in the entire world market priced over $30K. All the "charm" of a Chevy Suburban with none of the mechanical integrity. Giddyup.
I'm thinking that since Charles is of a certain age he might be drawn to the Chevy Corvette. On the premise that it was once "cool."
But circling back to reality and what not I'm going to have to say something French. An attempt to mend Brexit fences.
1963 Cadillac Coupe DeVille convertible... red of course.
A Citroen DS21, converted to run on bioethanol. Can be very effectively armoured, as demonstrated by the attack on de Gaulle in '62. For added luxury, go for the Pallas version.
I'd second the Mini Cooper that Richard mentioned. I had a 2013 model a few years back, and it was the most fun car I've ever owned. Mine was made in England, but I see they will start production of next year's electric model (maybe gas also?) in a new factory in China. What a disappointment and disgrace.
Cadillac came to mind. My grandparents owned an early 70's Sedan DeVille back in the day. Could have fit my Cooper in the trunk.
I wonder who inherited the Queen's Rollei 35.
Are there any American cars that run on cheese & wine? Necessary prerequisite for the Royal car:

King Charles drove an Audi this morning in Norfolk to church service.
