Honest answer? I can see why you get the gigs! Your portraits have a very relaxed look about them; your sitters look very calm. I see so many so-called 'edgy' portraits where the subjects look positively miserable. Great lighting too. Even more impressive when it looks natural and I know that you use a lot of artificial light. I just can't tell which ones!
You are a portrait-making master! And, a dedicated street walker and fine street photographer, as well as an inspiring swimmer and fitness wonk. Keep being an example for the rest of us!

Very nice, and the old good ones are there, too. My favorite is still Kinky. His whole persona shines right through.

One of my favorites is the guy at the desk with the old painting behind. But all are good in their own way.
We've seen a number of these images over the years and they never get old. These are some of the finest portraits I've had the pleasure to view.
