What's so new about the Sony/Hasselblad Fusion?

Sony a77 camera attached to a Hasselblad 150mm f4 Sonnar.  I think they make a good combo.
Tomorrow I will shoot executive portraits with an a77 and an 80mm 2.8 Planar. Isn't focus peaking delightful?

  3. Well, this is fine, that abomination which Hasselblad showed isnt.. Not mentioning out-of-planet pricing. Seriously 5000 EUR for literally pimped up NEX-7? :D

    1. that was so sad to see ... i hope that monstrosity will never go beyond prototype stage, for the sake of Hasselblad's legacy!

  4. What a deliciously sharp image! Even the "Ray Ban" on the sunglasses is crisp.

  5. Kirk, what is your thought about this Hasselblad/Sony thing? It is still not clear to me what kind of collaboration they are talking about...lenses maybe?(I would really love it if that is the case, another fantastic option along with Zeiss).

    2. If Hasselblad wanted to excite people, they'd have come out with a square sensor DSLR with A mount compatibility. 24x24mm or 30x30mm or something. Yes, I understand that small runs of image sensors are horribly expensive, but if they're charging 5K Euros, they should give something unique.
