The "Cousin Eddie" travel trailer. Perfect for landscape photographers who don't want to flaunt their wealth...

The reference to "Cousin Eddie" is from the National Lampoon movie: "Christmas Vacation." See it to understand. One of the funniest Christmas movies I've seen. And we're watching them left and right here. Tear Jerkers. Inspirational stories. Royal Romances made possible by the "magic" of Christmas, etc. Even some with Santa Clauses sporting automatic weapons in a battle against a Santa Assassin.

But my favorite Christmas Eve movie? After all the wrapping and eggnog tasting is done?

Yep, "Love Actually."

The ultimate Christmas Eve date movie.

Kirk if you are having a holiday movie extravaganza, don’t miss the movie “Mixed Nuts” with Steve Martin. We watch it every year along with Christmas Vacation. They are time well spent.

Most members of my family love Christmas Vacation. I don’t. (The original Vacation was terrific. The rest of the series, not so much.) The eventual appearance of Cousin Eddie and his family is the only thing that made Christmas Vacation bearable for me. Sorry for being a Grinch.

My wife and I have made a tradition on watching "Bad Santa" with Billy Bob Thornton. I'm not joking, we have.

Thanks! It's now on the "must see" list.

Hear. Hear. I wish there had been more of him.

I'm not sure you're cynical enough to handle Bad Santa.

Ouch! I hope I'm cynical enough... Was that sarcasm? :-D
