VSL Blog hits 37,000,000 direct page views. Here's a favorite post From 2019 that floated into the stats this morning. I still believe just about every word.

Posted after this morning's 3200 yard masters swim. Still wearing the same pants. Still weigh the same. Still engaged in the process of life.

Thirty Seven Million views seems remarkable to me. That's a lot of posts...

37M, Congrats! :D When you hit 50M all of us faithful readers will chip in and get you a new knee. Swimmer's knee is a thing right? ;-)

I thought only pickle ball players had self-inflicted knee problems.

But… you have earned those 37 million views…. you must be doing something right. Well done.

Henry Kissinger, when asked at the age of 100 about the secret to his longevity, reportedly replied "choosing the right parents". I will add that a certain amount of luck is required, in Henry's case escaping the gas chambers.

i have almost 35 million views on my photos at flickr.com/roland Stats are irrelevant :-) All I care about is your fabulous art: I have always loved your photos and text, glad you still have the time and energy to do both! Thanks for the fantastic art over the years and happy holidays!
