Yeah. I really like the M240. But how is that Carl Zeiss 35mm f2.0 ZM lens working? Well, I shot the two together today to find out. Take a peek. Click to see them large. G'Night.

Damn fine color and detail in this particular shot of a very familiar subject.
Punch in to see it at its best.

love them, especially no 21's colours.

How much did you tweak the saturation? Lovely colors.

Hi James, I bumped the saturation in Lightroom Classic to about +12. Also boosted overall contrast by about +10.

Thanks.

Man, your images sure show off the reds beautifully, always a joy to see your pictures with red in them, thank you for sharing them with us.

Love those blues, as always. Frame #9 is my fave. I felt I could almost walk into the picture.

(Color calibrated 27" monitor, by the way.)

Hi Kirk:

I am glad to hear you have reunited with the Leica rangefinder! I enjoy using my old IIIf with B&W film. I considered getting an M240 but opted for the Sigma FP (with the add-on EVF) to give me an excuse to buy old lenses from a wide array of mounts that can readily fit on the FP via adapters. It has been fun but I still think about a digital M.....

Since you also have the Sigma FP, I am wondering how you feel about the experience of using the FP vs. the M240.

Like all the other KT "fans", I am eager to see your Montreal images.

I am off to southern Japan next week and hope to give the FP and some antique lenses a bit of a workout between business meetings:)
