  1. Great writing - and it is even more pointed (and pointedly true) now with what's going on in the world and in our country. Beyond that, as I am facing the last weeks of our dog's life right now, it was also nice somehow to see a picture of the "studio dog" at the link within the link.

  2. Interesting read. Also interesting is the difference in how people comment today. Most of the comments in that 12 year old post were more long form, more intellectual in many cases if there was a difference of opinion it was presented reasonably and without rancor. I'm guessing people responded using a laptop or desktop computer rather than a cellphone. Our cellphones are killing us in so many ways.
