A quick note. I'll leave it just as a headline. I want to thank everyone who commented this past week. It made writing blog posts fun, happy, rewarding and comfortable. We don't always agree but if we did there would be no sense reading it. Right? Thanks!!!

You mentioned food and drink in Austin, so I feel free to follow up. I flew to Scottsdale today (and boy, are my arms tired!) Anyhoo, I bought a Texas Monthly in the Albuquerque airport, and in a small regular feature entitled, "Meanwhile, In Texas, I found this:
"Customers of an Austin coffee shop lined up for cups of award-winning Panamanian Black Jaguar joe that cost $150 each."
So now we know what kind of people live in Austin.
JC, Not as pricey as it seems. The refills are only $95. And they're pretty big cups! It's almost a bargain...
Ah. Austin. Wallowing in cash... even the photographers are driving Ferraris.
Geez, some lenses are cheaper than Austin coffee.
It's our cross to bear....
We use "expensive" lenses as coffee coasters.
