Just out walking around with the GX8 and the Meike 25mm t2.2 cinema lens. A lovely day. Just lovely.

I came upon a web site the other day listing all the lenses that are available for the m4/3s system. There were lots of brand names that I was not familiar with, a fair number of which are Chinese, like Meike. It was astonishing to see how many lenses are available. I read somewhere that Laowa has released an m4/3s lens with auto-focus, as they are part of the four thirds consortium. It's too bad about Olympus's financial problems, but sooner or later I suspect a Chinese camera maker will emerge. Since they're making lenses, and they seem to be good quality, camera bodies must be in the pipeline.

I was close to pulling the trigger on this lens for my Fuji XT3s, but then bought into the Panasonic S1 system for landscape photos I might circle back to this one day. The 37.5mm (equivalent) focal length on the Fuji's intrigue's me. And it's a beautiful lens in my opinion.

Something really interesting about the *surface* of those photos. I can't decide whether I like it or not -- sort of like being stoned, not that I'm ever stoned. Now I've got to look up Meike and see what else they have...

Photo of the paddle board and the bridge nicely done.

Paddle board and bridge, ditto, very nice. What variations in exposure and/or editing did you use in the photos of the theater? Interesting.
