I am doing a "countdown" sale of the electronic (Kindle) version of the Lisbon Portfolio on Amazon.com. Today the price is only $2.99 (regularly $9.99) in a day or two it will jump up to $4.99 and then go to $6.99 and then, at the end of the week, it goes back to the regular price.
I thought I would do this for readers who are feeling a bit cash strapped right now but might want to join in the fun and adventure with our hero, Henry White. If you've been waiting for the price to drop it just did. But only for a few days.
Read the reviews and then get my book for less than the price of a medium sized latte at Starbucks.
You'll be happy you did. I'll be grateful you did!

I just received the paperback. The book looks good. I'm saving it to read on vacation in a few weeks. Looking forward to it.
Hey Kirk: I'm almost through Lisbon Portfolio and I can't put my Kindle down. Thanks for eating up time I had set aside for video editing:-)…do you have others in this series?
That link takes me to a kindle price of $9.23. Do I have to do something special to find the discount? Or is it only available to some? I am in New Zealand, is that a US only price?
Hi Nicolas, Sadly the promotional pricing is only available (Amazon's fault!) in the U.S. and the U.K. If they offer the program in other markets I'll do it again. Promise!
Hi Bob, I'm so happy you like the book! I'm working on the second one right now and hope to have it done in a few months. It's based on a project in the dead of winter in 1994 in St. Petersburg, Russia.... Write what you know?
I was there for a couple of weeks with a box full of Hasselblad cameras and had a blast... We'll see how well I can wrap a Henry White story around that one.
Thanks for the generous offer Kirk
Just got my copy and will be looking forward to reading it.
Read the book a while back. Had ordered it to encourage you more than anything else and was then quite pleased with it. Found it to be a really enjoyable read; I think you've got some real potential with your main character. Would suggest that an RZ67 would make a heck of a weapon.
Hope that you are catching some nice fall weather/color in Saratoga Springs. SS is a lovely, very interesting town and with a little luck, you'll get beautiful colors up there. Most people think of NY State as New York City; it's a lot more than that.
KT,
Thank you for the deal. Just got through the Kindle for Android device download process, the Amazon one click process setup and the actual purchase of the "Lisbon Portfolio". Wow, it actually downloaded to my tablet and it works! Wonder of wonders. I feel like a real techie. Ha. Now to enjoy the book.
Joe
purchased!
When Kirk asked a while ago what was keeping people from buying The Lisbon Portfolio, my answer was "I'm not going to buy another book until I read one of the ones I've had backlogged for a couple of years." Well, I finally finished one of those so it's time to buy Kirk's to help support this site (and I'm curious to see how he does with fiction). However, in my case I'm going to wait until it goes back up to regular price as he deserves to be paid a reasonable amount for his efforts.
Well this was too good to pass up. Ordered.
Thanks!
Just purchased and it's on my Kindle app. Can't wait to sit down with it this weekend!
Got it. Read it! Great!!
Missed the $2.99 but got it at $4.99. Now I have to wait for my replacement Kindle to arrive. Left the other one in the seatback pocket on an international flight. At least Amazon can go back and deactivate a Kindle so that no one else can ever use it. It should die once someone tries to get a WiFi connection, if they can get past my password.
I miss the iBook version? U have books about lightning there! U plan on getting in that store to?
