Thanks Frank! Lucky shot. Lucky to be in the right place at the right time with the right camera and the right lens and all the settings set to the right settings. Just luck.
Luck? In your dreams! You are the consummate professional, who leaves nothing to chance! If I had just 10% of your skill behind a camera I would be a VERY happy man. Your many years'experience show through in everything you do and it's a joy to be part of the journey through the pages of your blog. And a skillful, articulate writer to boot! A request: Please give us Henry White volume 2. Please! Pretty please!! Regards, David
Excellent images Kirk. I am glad you took the time to walk down the steps of your private jet sipping Turkish coffee from your morning flight to Turkey, while eating truffles with eggs to take these lucky images. Good thing your sherpas of camera assistants hold various lenses and cameras out to you, had the right mixture to grab at that moment. Well done ;)
You supply a basket of photos to the theater, under some terms. So they then do a press packet that includes sublicensing or something, for... accredited press something something?

If it's luck, then you're much luckier when holding a camera than most of us!

Lucky, yes. If you accept the definition of luck as preparedness meets opportunity.

From a lecture by Louis Pasteur, "In the fields of observation, chance favors only the prepared minds."
How does that work, license-wise?

This is probably a dumb question.
Super shots. Congrats!!!
Ps.
Speaking about music, any chance you could do Rolling Stones gig at Circuit on May 24?
It's a great photo and deserves the recognition.
