Lovely to the last. A truly soulful face, Tulip. You do her proud.

You can see the love in her eyes, she was blessed to have you are family, and I think she knew it.

Studio Dog, Tulip I will miss you. From your masters description I just know you were a wonderful companion and member of the family.

"The dog is a gentleman; I hope to go to his heaven, not man's". Mark Twain[Letter to W.D. Howells, 2 April 1899]

"God couldn't be physically with us so he gave us dogs...and notice Dog spelled backward is God and they both show unconditional love".

"The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself, too." Samuel Butler

"You can trust your dog to guard your house but never trust your dog to guard your sandwich."

"Dogs are not our whole life, but they help make our lives whole".

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and
Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because
of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow
Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and
valleys with lush green grass.
mien a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to
this place. There is always food and water and
warm spring weather. The old and frail animals
are young again. Those who are maimed
are made whole again. They play all day with
each other.
There is only one thing missing. They are
not with their special person who loved them
on Earth.
So, each day they run and play until
the day comes when one suddenly stops playing
and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears
are up! The eyes are staring! And this one
suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen, and when you and
your special friend meet, you take him or her
in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed
again and again and again, and you look once
more into the eyes of your trusting pet
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together,
never again to be separated.

I sorry for your lose. I know how you feel as Duggin my 16 year old black lab passed 2 weeks ago. I knew he had a brain tumor for about a year or longer, but he was always so happy all the time even though he went blind and lose some of his hearing and had issues walking. After 25 years in the medical field I couldn't do what needed to be done. Although the meds helped.
The worst part is coming home, the house is so quite, empty. My last friend (all my close human friends have passed in the last 3 years. I'm the last of the group) and my traveling companion for many many photo assignments has passed as well. Duggin was amazing, he helped my 15 year old son through his anxiety when he was in 5th grade. All my son's friends from K-10th grade stopped by to see Duggin when they found out he was sick.

Hope it gets easier
Roger
