I came across another choreography rehearsal image I wanted to share. I have new found respect for the Fuji X system. It's really fun.

Working on dance numbers for the Zach Theatre Production of "Christmas Carol." My favorite play of the year.

They spend a ton of time getting every detail right. I'm just happy when I get the main subject's hands inside the frame....

Can't believe it's the first of November already. Where did this year go?

One more example of your brilliant theater photography! It’s not just technically on target, but it captures the focus and intensity of both the choreographer (?) and the actor concentrating to follow and memorize her moves. Wonderful

Looks great. I'm addicted to my X-H1. Lately I've been enjoying leaving in it manual focus and just using the rear AF button. That's my only request for improvement on another version so far. A large, easy to find rear AF-ON button.

Hmm. I have my eyes on a used Fuji XT-1. I am currently shooting a Sony A6000 with a few lenses. Love the image quality and the video quality but not so much the experience of using the camera. The Fuji has an enormous high-quality EVF and was very comfortable to hold. Life is short, I might just do it. Get a dumb adapter and shoot with my manual Nikon lenses for starters.

As to the AF-on button on the X-H1, you are right, placement is not ideal, but I have this thing that I do to almost all my cameras...You can buy small halfspehres in craft shops, that have adhesive on the flat side. Sometimes black or pearl. If you put them on the AF-on button, it protrudes more, is easily found by your thumb and more easy to press. Not all of them stick really well and long, but if you find one you like, they come in 20s or 50s, replace them every couple of weeks or just superglue them. Have done that to Nikons, Fujis, Pentaxes etc. lifesaver for me, cheers, Z

Thanks Zobeleye, makes sense, I'll give it a shot.
