I read the reviews but I decided to do my own test on the Lumix 24-105mm f4.0, along with the S1 camera. Seems adequate...

An actor dressed as "the Cat in the Hat" for Halloween.

Camera: Lumix S1
Lens: Lumix 24-105mm f4.0
Aperture used: 4.0
Shutter speed: 1/125th
Focal length: 81mm
ISO: 2,000
Lighting: Industrial florescent fixtures in ceiling
Profile: Natural
Color Balance: AWB
Client: Zach Theatre

Mindset: There's a lot to like about good, standard zoom lenses. And cameras with nice shutters....

Good to see portraits again. The one in this post and the post just prior I've come back to several times already. Both are going to be saved in my how kirk does portraits folder.

Mark this photo. This could be the one that kicks off the next big swing of the gear pendulum. Really - click through to see the less compressed version. ISO 2,000...overhead fluorescents...auto white balance? A new day may be on the horizon.

MM, Thanks but I'm keeping the Fuji stuff. It's too good to let go of right now.

Jay, Thanks for nice feedback!!!
