I'm always curious about new blogs or blogs I have missed that either showcase good photography or have some unique viewpoint about cameras, lenses, lighting and technique. I try to balance topics here but I'm an avid reader of other blogs as well. I suspect you are as well. Please consider sharing fun to read blog resources that you read on a regular basis.
As I am asking the question I guess I'll get the ball rolling.
My favorites, in no particular order, are:
The Luminous Landscape
The Online Photographer
Bythom (Thom Hogan's site)
Dedpxl (Zack Arias)
Petapixel is a good aggregator
Robin Wong
Ming Thein
EOSHD.com
Cinema5D.com
The Camera Store TV (video programming about cameras)
Help me find more and share them.
edit: definitely list your own blog if you have one!

I shoot with a Fuji X-E1 so one of my daily stops is with the Fuji X Forum.

Since it probably indicates that I'm reading the right kind of stuff, I'm flattered that 60% of your list is on my list too.......
Tuck, Luminous, and TOP top my list, read them daily. Since I shoot Fuji I also read Fuji Rumors.

The only site I regularly check that isn't on your list (assuming that you're on your own list!) is
http://thewanderinglensman.com
I also periodically check three sites that don't update very often (the last of these not since March 2014):
http://tao-of-digital-photography.blogspot.com
http://biofos.com
http://wrotniak.net
I also look regularly at the photographs on
http://www.pbase.com/thekrupgallery/profile
(which is not a blog, but a beautiful gallery by Warren Krupsaw).
Thanks for your list. There are several there I've never looked at.

VSL, TOP, sporadic on others
For me, Your first two are the only other ones.( LuLa and TOP) I miss Shutterfinger and gave up on Plop. I don't do video. BTW I appreciate your positive thinking, but I read yours 3rd, probably because of the strong influence of portraits and artificial lighting, neither roof which interest me. I do find some of your portrait subjects very aesthetic though.

I read vsl and top religiously, ming thein and the front page of lula occasionally (but enough to keep up).
Then there's *my* awesome blog, which obviously I read obsessively, over and over.
Oh, and also, duh, I read Daniel Milnor over at http://shifter.media every single day. He updates somewhat less often though.
My list covers most of the sites on your list plus an excellent site covering Fuji gear: http://www.johncaz.net/blog and several rumors sites and FM forums.
I'm so glad someone else mentioned Ultrasomething and Jim Kasson's blog. US is an irreverent view of our weird little hobby, and he's a really nice writer as well who knows how to turn a phrase. And Jim is probably the best technical reviewer out there for anything that he decides to look at. At the same time, he's also a fantastic shooter --- check out his galleries.
I also like Machine Planet by Dante Stella: https://themachineplanet.wordpress.com/ (“Like the Economist but without the brains, wit, etc.”)
On YouTube, I like the Art of Photography, a one-man show by Ted Forbes for its breadth of topics, especially his in-depth look at the works of famous and not-so-famous photographers.
And I love Ben Horne's Youtube channel. He's an 8x10 landscape photographer, and if you want to know the meaning of slowing down, look no further than his beautifully self-produced video journals of his week-long camping trips.

They're very convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are very short for novices.
Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thank
you for the post.

Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get irked while
people think about worries that they plainly do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects
, people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more.
Thanks

I think I discovered VSL when you guest posted at TOP. Here are some other sites I follow/visit:
-- Thom Hogan's mirrorless page
-- Petapixel ... click through from Facebook when something interesting pops up
-- DPReview articles ... RSS feed
-- Kai Wong/Digital Rev ... pops up on my Facebook feed; I get a good laugh from time to time
-- dyxum.com ... a forum, not a blog where I get my Sony info, chance to chat with other Sony/Minolta users
-- Robin Wong ... also on my Facebook feed
-- Sony Alpha Rumors ...
... I'm sure there are others, but these are top of mind.
I stopped reading all the blogs you have listed for various reasons. I'm pretty picky/finicky/impatient when it comes to listening to other people and their opinions. So at the moment it's:
VSL
The Angry Photographer (youtube)
Chuck Jines (youtube)
Maarten Heilbron (gear reviewer on youtube, very detailed and impartial reviews)
http://the-invisible-cities.com/-not much writing, mostly an image journal, which is why I like it
http://www.tokileephoto.com/--love her work, her approach and her philosophy, website + blog
http://www.gordonparksfoundation.org/--he took images I wish I could learn to take
I also cruise by the rangefinder forum, mostly to see what's for sale, and the odd forum discussion.
That's about it at the moment.
Eric Kim, Ming Thein, Thom H and occasionally I read an Austin local called Kurt or Kirk something. ;) LL ok too. I like those who can photograph. Not those who cant and just right about it :)
-VSL
-TOP
-Used to read Ming, have moved on (artistic reasons)
-http://www.thisiscolossal.com - not strictly photography, but does feature it. Amazing art that inspires.
-I get an email for F11 magazine. Great stuff.
-LL, less often
-the odd DPR forum
-PP, if the artical interests me.
Catch up every other week on
-Robin Wong
-Lens rentals
Thanks to the others for their feedback - I'll certainly be checking out those sites in not aware of.

DearSusan (a response to Susan Sontag's comments re substandard photography) at dearsusan.net.
While you're there take a look at our city guides for photographers - see the real city and not the tourist hot spots - Tokyo, Singapore, London, Copenhagen, Cape Town and Istanbul already available. Amsterdam and George Town (Penang) soon.
Kirk, thanks for asking the question, these answers will provide resources to sift through for a while.

My photographic tribe (Canberra Photographic Society) has a blog which some may find to be interesting:
https://canberraphotographicsociety.wordpress.com/
Many others less frequently:
Keith Cooper http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/index.html
The Ballarat Photo Biennale also has two publications which provide an interesting perspective on photography, visually and written. BETA and ONE THOUSAND WORDS.
http://ballaratfoto.org/
I check out "H.O's Diary" shortly after reading your blog. (https://hophotos.wordpress.com/) I love his mostly portrait orientation shots of cars. And the fun he is having with his recently acquired Nikon D3200. (He also shoots film in an old Leica.) He has a different sense of composition from a lot of other people. Don't have the slightest idea what he's saying, though, and Google translation doesn't help very much.
I'm over at "On the Corkboard" (http://onthecorkboard.blogspot.com/). I don't talk very much; just put up the pictures.
You're on my regular daily reading list. And I also enjoyed the portrait gallery you recently put up. Keep up the good work!
David Littlejohn
Dan Milnor at http://shifter.media/ and Patrick LaRoque at http://www.laroquephoto.com/blog/ are two of my favorite stops on the web.

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned editorial portraitist Brad Trent https://damnuglyphotography.wordpress.com
What is essential with Roger Cicala is that he considers cameras and lenses strictly for what they are: potentially fallible industrial products:
http://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2015/06/canon-5ds-teardown
This constant attitude of Roger is ethically unattackable (rejection of idolatry.
Just to say
A couple I haven't seen mentioned yet:
Guy Tal - http://guytal.com/wordpress/
Only posts a few times per month, but very thought-provoking. I've never seen a mention of gear.
Lenswork Daily (Brooks Jensen) - http://daily.lenswork.com
Focus on the creative process; virtually no mention of gear.
photographylife.com!!!
Great lists here. I read most and have found a fewness ones.
Not mentioned AFAIK:
Resource Magazine
PDN online. (Subscription for some content)
SoundImage Plus ( can be interesting but occasionally repetitive)
Flash Havoc
The top of the list for me has ALWAYS been VSL! Never fail to check your blog every single day Kirk.
My list:
VSL
Steve Huff
Ming Thein
The Online Photographer
Petapixel
Admiringlight
And Kirk now you have made me feel so guilty of not updating my blog as religiously as before. I envy you, you have so much happening in your life with a busy photography career and yet you can compose quality blog contents so frequently! I really do not know how you do it.
A couple great blogs that I didn't see listed here:
Ultra something photography by gregory simpson
The photo fundamentalist
Kirk, I picked most of my blog choices from the sidebar on your blog two years ago, and I visit regularly, so thanks. VSL is where I discovered Robin Wong's writing and photos. Robin's blog was most influential in moving my camera and lens choices towards Olympus and mirrorless. I like Patrick LaRoque's eloquent images using Fujifilm cameras. (I know we don't do no Fuji on VSL.) (http://www.laroquephoto.com/blog) Patrick is part of the Kage Collective. (http://www.kagecollective.com) which is an international group of dedicated Fuji-users. Spike over on Pattaya Days blends humor, attitude and keen photography chops. Plus he opens a window into British ex-pat life in Thailand. (http://www.pattayadays.com/blog/). One tumblr blog I check regularly is Kurt Kamka's (http://kurtkamka.tumblr.com). Kurt is a Yankee expat living in Manila; his images sear the heart.
Left out two that I enjoy:
Austin's own ATMTX: (http://blog.atmtxphoto.com) Even if he does like HDR.
The GetDPI Forum (must register) where some fine photographers post their work and discuss their gear. I post on the Micro-4/3rds side but you can find all formats being chewed over. (http://www.getdpi.com/forum/)
Always enjoy Zack Arias' DEDPXL. (http://dedpxl.com/blog/)
I like your blog also I would like to recommend his blog.http://www.meanderinginlotusland.com/
These posts have been very educational. Here is my list:

Hi Kirk,
Yours is my go-to blog first thing every morning (after a quick peek at the headlines on Reuters) . . . . your prolific output and catchy writing style has me hooked, you always seem to have something fresh, interesting and relevant to say. I appreciate the time and effort you put into sharing your life and work with us. I also congratulate you on your first novel, I found it compulsive reading, even though the writing style is sometimes a bit of an effort for an old timer from the other side of the pond, who grew up on Graham Greene and Conan Doyle :-)
Other photography blogs I access regularly or other than the ones you have mentioned . . . . in no order of preference:-
Jeffrey Friedl (although he is blogging more about cycling recently rather than photography) http://regex.info/blog/
Charlie Clift - http://charlieclift.blogspot.co.uk/
Gardner Creative - http://www.gardnercreative.co.uk/blog/

John Free - http://www.johnfreephotography.com/blog/
Not really a blog:
Life Force Magazine - http://www.lifeforcemagazine.com/
Keep on blogging . . . . . . if you stopped you would be sorely missed . . . .
Only read Yours. I like ur writing n the fact that its more orientaded towards your refections rather than tecnical stuff. To mutch focus on tecnic kinda takes the essens of what i love about it away.
