Stay well and find ways to have fun. I wish more of your readers got your sense of humor. I think it IS possible to both understand the seriousness of this point in time and also talk about the disappointment and frustration in dealing with it.
Humor, irony, and sarcasm are just what we need now but are sold out nationwide (especially here in D.C.). Some of us appreciated it so thanks for trying.
It's my fault. I went a bit over the top on that post. Now taken down. The situation IS too serious to bitch about right now. The commenters were right. I was wrong. I'll fix it with some better posts. Sorry.
BREAKING: The World Health Organization has announced that dogs cannot contract Covid-19. Dogs previously held in quarantine can now be released. To be clear, WHO let the dogs out.
As Scott said, we need it more than ever. And your occasional irreverence is a welcome breath of fresh air in the stale times. Please keep your thoughts and humor coming! We all have more time to read it, too!

I didn't see the "redacted" post, but suspect I'd have been amused - sometimes humour, especially close to the knuckle humour, is the best way to deal with either a crisis or frustration.
I do hope posting resumes soon. If I end up having to self-isolate I'm going to need a decent read more than ever.

I didn't find anything that you wrote which you then redacted as being out of line or insulting. Personally, I think you are falling for their attacking, insane, and inane line of BS. Please don't give into them by changing how and what you write.
It's OK to have different opinions, we are all different people stock piling pasta and toilet paper. Skipping a blog is not as bad as hosting an article of a friend bragging about his new car.. Thanks, please stay healthy.
I read your deleted post. I knew ‘the sky is falling’ readers would miss the necessity of your commentary. I thoroughly enjoyed your post. Nevertheless I respect your decision to remove it. Please be mindful of their future (pressure) comments/questions re: religious affiliation or position on state’s rights. Non carborundum illegitimi.
If it's any comfort, I'm being called a sick bastard for sending out links to the opening scene of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (they may have a point).
Where did you find that bottle of hand sanitizer? We haven't seen any of it in Seattle for about three weeks.
Talking about Leica SL2's I was talking to the product manager at The Camera Store in Calgary and they just had 6 come in and they are expecting several more in the coming week(s). If anyone is interested I can forward you the number and the person to talk to.
I have a number of musician friends here in Santa Fe and they are seriously screwed; they depend on lots of people coming to see them, and lots of people aren't coming to see anything anymore. They were already hanging on by their fingernails because of the robber barons now streaming everything and paying almost nothing for it. However, it has occurred to me that I'm safer than most -- I live in a very photographical town and I tend to see "long" -- 70mm is very comfortable to me, and 85 is good too. That gives me the suddenly fashionable social distance. Now I can walk through town shooting but telling people I'm social distancing, rather than invading their private space. You no longer have to worry about them getting up in your face, either; if they do, just cough. I wish I'd seen your intemperate post, but I missed it. If it was about what I think it was, the MFers who screwed the entire nation thinking that they might benefit politically, more power to you.
