Really love these, especially the textures in the brickwork in no. 19 and those skies; heck they're all good. I'm going to enjoy them full size when I've got my chores done for the day. Thank you for your blog, I really look forward every day to seeing what you put up.

interesting look these ones, from the preview shots a bit hdr-y and grainy then different again full quality, I thought you'd put some kind of effect on them at first

Color!

These shots are amazing, clear, bright, no harsh shadows, vibrant colors without being brash... Can you share a bit about how you accomplished this? Would like to do same in bright sunshine conditions like these. Thanks, Rod C. Fort Collins , CO

I love the color, but it is the dance of the clouds made me keep going back, again and again, giving time for the details in this photo set to sink in.

One more thought, the happy worker with the new bag of ice on this (I assume) hot day tells me he is about to enjoy becoming a bit cooler in the not-too-distant future. Perhaps my favorite from this day of your photo wander-about.

Love the clear blue skies. Up here in Minnesota we are cooler, but not by much, but we have whitish hazy skies and poor air quality indexes.

I just out ran a tornado while bringing Peggy the Dancing Hippocampus (36ft motorhome) back home. Freaky clouds for sure.

I love the dance and lyrical interplay you create with your cloud photos! The colours are different and the look more refined than the Leica's. I like it. I'm not saying it's better btw.

Thanks Kirk, I love the clarity and colour in these shots.
I have a Sigma fp and love the photos it produces with the 35mm lens. Did you take these photos with the “stinky nappy” technique or did you use the viewfinder?

Hi David, I used the gargantuan loupe (LVF11?) on the back of the camera; pressed tight to my eye. Worked fine. And it doesn't suck battery juice. Love the fp.
