My non-verbal, non-literate, review of the Fuji 60mm f2.4 macro lens as a daylight, outdoor, good light shooting tool. No conclusion beyond what you can see when you blow these up.

I tried to stop Into Franks today for my bi-monthly Chicago dog and waffle fries. They are out of business! Damn. Well probably better for my health anyway.

Kirk,
did you concentrate on yellow, light blue and red?
I really like your compositions with just one or two colours, :-) !

Sorry about that coffee - of course you had to end the essay and head for home and some *real* coffee!

Yet another capable, affordable Fujinon with that distinctive Fuji color and feel. It must be tiring using photography equipment that just gets out of the way and let's you instinctively capture what you see. I mean, if you can't write about all the critical flaws, the endless disappointment with focus that takes more than a nanosecond or field curvature or .00001nm resolution at the very edge of the image, you might as just go and just take photos. A travesty for internet photography writers.

I hate it when people spout mystical mumbo-jumbo about the unique magic of a lens but the Fuji 60mm Macro brings me close to understanding what they are trying to communicate.

Also, great work! Thanks for posting these.
