Hi, I used the black and white filter in Snapseed and then fine tuned contrast and brightness in the same program. Thanks.

Great portrait Kirk! I recently wrote an article on how versatile Snapseed is! Awesome to see that you experimenting with it as wel =) I dont know if you utilized this for the above shot, but I like using the "color filters" within the B&W module.
