We shot three or four commercial shoots for an ad agency before I invited her to the studio. We spent time just chatting. The session probably lasted a couple of hours. I felt like we were on the same wavelength most of the time.
Kirk, Did you use all natural light? Was this shot near a window? I love the natural expression of the subject, but also the lighting is beautifully done.

I love authentic looks like this. How much time did you spend with her before the photo?

Wonderful, Kirk. Just wonderful.
yeah, yeah but what lens did you use, and how would it look with a brick wall instead ?
Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Nice.
Your portraits are meditations and conduits of souls.
Great job. Thanks!
Where do you find these amazing humans?
Andy, you are too kind.
A really beautiful presentation of the subject. This photo has a look similar to Steve McCurry's Afghan Girl.

No available lighting. One big, softbox.
He said it better than I did. But I wholeheartedly agree.
